Please do not hire UNITED STATES PLUMBING (USP), State License Number: 1084090 the owner Ryan Boyd. His license and bond are up to date and active. We’ve had an absolutely terrible experience with them including a monetary loss. My house is %100 electrical with the exception of the gas stove. Nothing still cooks like gas. Here are the events as I see them and in my opinion: Were were at the point of purchasing a hot-water-heat pump. We found a company UNITED STATES PLUMBING. We hired them because of a good rebate and we liked the owner at that time. We purchased the heat pump for $7,439.91 with a $3,000 rebate. Not bad… It was installed November 2023 and were waiting for the rebate. I e-mailed the owner, Ryan Boyd as he was handling the rebates and he replied “working on it” so I waited. Weeks later, the same thing, working on it. After 10 months we are still waiting. During that time he has said (4) times the was going to classes to learn how to do the rebates. (BS) I have texted and emailed him over 50 times since November. He does not respond to me at all. I guess I complained too much. If he paid me this would not happen…I agree it sounds like I am a terrible person for texting or emailing over 50 times in nearly a year. He said most of the time “I’ll get back to you” and didn’t. Well, what do you do if he doesn’t get back to you ?! I didn’t want to but I felt I had to notify the California State Licensing Board (CSLB). When he started the install, he did not pull a permit. The only item he was dinged on was not pulling a permit and the CSLB stated a mark would go on his contractor’s license. The punishment was rather recent and I have not seen it on his license as of today, September 6, 2024. However, the CSLB called me today September 6, 2024 and stated that he did receive a letter of reprimand. Yeah !!! I also notified his suppliers and one being the “Diamond Certified” company. The Diamond Certified company performed their own investigation and banned him from using the “Diamond Certified” name until I was paid. Thank you Diamond Certified. Why not give me the money ? That was the contractual agreement. It didn’t cost him anything, Sooo, where is the $3,000 ? Jamica, Caribbean, Hawaii ?? It’s somewhere., I do know it’s not here. Is this situation criminal ? Again, what I said was my personal experience and opinion. So, please do not hire UNITED STATES PLUMBING. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.

When our whole house experienced a blockage on a Saturday night, we were pleased to learn that Ryan could come out first thing Sunday morning to help address the matter. He is very kind, knowledgeable, and explained every step of the process. He worked with us to resolve the blockage making multiple visits in the same day to do so. Sunday chores and a shower have never been more exciting thanks to Ryan.

This company is very professional and responded quickly to set up an appointment. Kim did a great job staying in communication to set things up. Tech Ryan is a great communicator explaining trouble shooting process.

Ryan was able to handle my emergency the same day I called. Ryan did a great job. He was professional and knowledgeable. He let me know what he was doing every step of the way.

I gave them 5 stars because they came out during Christmas week and repaired my water heater, they were prompt, professional, and courteous.

I really liked that the reach out to me rite after I made the appointment. Super knowledgeable about the way my plumbing is ran under my house and the houses in the area . Told the technician that he could just wipe is feet and come in . He must of noticed that there was a pile of shoes by the door, he proceed to remove his work boots. That show what kind of professionalism that he had . Asked me what the issue was, said it happens on these houses . Ran a snake from my clean out in front of my house and was able to clear the clog . I felt a sense of relief knowing that he was the owner and is doing the work as well . I would highly recommend him and his company to all of my friends and family

I called on a weekend to inquire about a quote to help disconnect my dryer. They called me just a few minutes after I sent them a request, and then Ryan showed up a few days later and was super kind and professional. He disconnected my dryer easily and gave me a great quote to have them connect it at my new place. Very satisfied with their service and will be calling them again if I’m ever in need.

The worst scam artists out there!! DO NOT USE. These clowns incorrectly installed my water heater which resulted in a slow leak, they charged me $200 to pull a permit that now after three months still hasn’t been issued (I’ve called the city to make sure). They took my payment happily of course but left me with damaged house and no permit and they have no come to fix the issue. Please run and do not use these people.
